Micropigmentation & Microblading

Micropigmentation and microblading are both popular semi-permanent makeup treatments performed by a professional

​

Microblading is usually done to enhance the eyebrows  and to make natural looking hair .It lasts for an average of 1 to 1.5 years.

​

Micropigmentation can be done for the eyebrows, other parts of the face or body and the scalp. It lasts for an average of two and half  to 3 years.

​

Procedure

​

The procedure takes 4 to 6 hours and minimum of two settings at the gap of 30 days

​

The colour consistency and quantity of the artificial colour placed is decided by the professional

​

Healing and antibiotic creams are given to prevent any infection or bacteria formation

​

Contraindications

​

  • blood pressure or  heart conditions

  • Taking blood-thinners such as aspirin or similar medication

  • Diabetes

  • Pregnant or lactating

  • Glaucoma

  • Herpes simplex

  • Certain skin conditions e.g. rashes, blisters, psoriasis, or eczema

  • Taking steroids such as cortisone, Accutane, Retin-A or Renova

  • Allergy to makeup

  • Acute acne in the treatment area

  • Susceptibility to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

  • Hypertrophic scarring or keloids

  • Spider veins or a birthmark in the area they want to be treated

  • Blood disorder e.g. sickle cell anemia, haemophilia, or a platelet disorder
